Why passkeys instead of passwords?

Passwords are the leading cause of account takeovers: the same one gets reused across sites, typed into fake login pages, and leaked wholesale when some other site gets breached. A passkey can't be any of those things — it's unique to this site, never leaves your device, and can't be typed, guessed, or phished, so there's nothing for an attacker to steal in the first place.

Apple, Google, Microsoft, and the FIDO Alliance are leading a broad industry push to replace passwords with passkeys everywhere — we built this game with passkeys as the only sign-in method because we want to help that shift along.

You can add a passkey on each device you play from, so your games stay reachable from your phone, tablet, PC, or Mac.

Pick a name, then you'll be prompted to create a passkey with your device (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key).

Recover your account

Enter the email on your account. If it matches, we'll send a link to add a new passkey and sign back in — your old passkeys aren't affected.

Choose your directory address

Your games — the ones in progress and the ones finished — are listed at your own public web address. Pick a short handle for it: lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.

Directory & sharing

Your games are listed at your own web address. Choose who can open it. Anyone who can see a game still in progress can watch it — the board only, never anyone's letters.

A Twitch or YouTube link, shown on your directory. Nothing is broadcast from here and this is not a stream key — it is only a link to wherever you already stream.

Recover your account

This link lets you add a new passkey to your account and sign back in. Tap Continue, then follow your device's prompt (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a security key).

Game Nights

A game night is a group of six to twelve players sharing one standings table. Invite them and the schedule builds itself so everyone plays everyone once — or just add games you've already played. The table fills in as games finish.

    Challenge

Ask your friend for a game. They'll get a notification, and the game starts the moment they accept — so there's no empty lobby to sit in if they're away.

    Studio Pass

Joining a game someone else hosts is always free, and never counts against anyone's limit.

    Choose a letter

The blank tile will represent this letter for the rest of the game.

    Exchange tiles

Tap tiles from your rack to swap them. Costs your turn.

    Select tiles to exchange.

    Resign?

This ends the game right away and counts as a loss. This can't be undone.

    Pass your turn?

You'll play no tiles and end your turn. If every player passes in a row, the game ends.

    Unseen tiles

Counts include tiles in the bag and on other players' racks — everything not on the board or your own rack.

    Waiting on more players?

Everyone here has had a turn, but the game isn't full yet. Wait for the rest to join, or lock it in and keep playing with just this table.
